Why not just find a "non-expandable desktop" workstation on your network that has some spare cpu time, and put a bunch of serial ports on it? Then you can run any kind of SLIP/routing/telnet/dialup software/connections that you want. Of course, the trick is to be able to add a bunch of serial ports to a desktop and use the standard serial drivers already in the workstation, so that the new serial ports look like part of the machine, rather than being out on the net somewhere. As you might have guessed by now, we sell such a box that happens to attach to the SCSI bus on a workstation.
