RE: Precision Visuals' Financial Health In reply to the inquiry posted in comp.graphics by Peter Dotzauer of Ohio State University on 21 Dec 89, Precision Visuals is in excellent financial health. The Company has been profitable since its inception nine years ago, including each of the last four quarters. We have positive cash balances and no long-term debt. Precision Visuals has the second highest financial rating assigned by Dunn and Bradstreet. Our net worth as recorded on our financial statements is lower than a year ago due to a change in accounting policy whereby we now recognize maintenance revenue on a ratable basis. This means we have deferred more than $2.5 million in revenue to future accounting periods. In an "apples to apples" comparison to one year ago, our net worth is up more than $2 million. Bottom line, we have never been stronger financially. Sales of PV-WAVE, our new Visual Data Analysis package for Sun and VAX workstations and VAX timesharing systems are exceeding projections, and we are scoring major sales wins against more traditional data analysis and graphics suppliers.
