It's pretty cheap: only $250 (a year ago) for sources, and you'll probably spend two or three times that in hours to write shell scripts. Asd uses mail and uucp, so you'll need a uucp connection between machines. But if you're working together on a project, it makes sense to lash your machines together somehow, if only for the improved communication speed. -- bd
