After following this group for a while, installing perl, and reading the
man pages, I still don't really know how to use perl.

I do know how to use awk, the shell (sh, csh), and sort of understand
sed (haven't really needed it, or didn't think so anyway).

What I do need is something that will point me in the right direction as
far as getting started in using perl. I keep feeling that I am missing
out on a great piece of software.
