QMS does the same, Apple Laserwriter does the same, the NTX I think does the same, infact I know of no 300 dpi lasers that do not build a complete bitmap first. The banding is apparantly related to those printers that either use a dot-matrix mechanical print method, or write directly to film with the laser. Cheers Woody
