I don't know what ethernet cards are supported, but I do know that the selection is limited to those that have an Intel ethernet chip in them. I don't expect the bulk of the ethernet cards to work because of the problems I have seen in getting generic Tiawanese ethernet cards to work with PC-NFS at a customer site.
