I think it is a 21Mb. I would like to format it, but The following is from the Rodime 200E series drive manual (hope this is the same for 200 series): Drive RO201E RO202E RO203E RO204E Platters: 1 2 3 4 Heads: 2 4 6 8 Cylinders: 640 640 640 640 Formatted capacity (typ): 10.49 20.97 31.45 41.94 per track: 8192 8192 8192 8192 per sector: 256 256 256 256 secs/track: 32 32 32 32 Transfer Rate Mbit/sec 5 5 5 5 Seek, track to track: 8 8 8 8 avg: 55 55 55 55 max: 130 130 130 130 DOS drive type: - 2,25 3 40 Note that the drive types don't fit exactly - all drive types above actually use only 615 cylinders, so you miss 25 cyls... The difference between the alternative types above have to do with at what cylinders write pre-compemsation starts. You'll get a little more bytes per drive than listed above since DOS uses 512 byte sectors (you get 17 sectors / track ). I have been using a RO203E for quite some time on my home machine, and it worked great (better than others brands I've tried). It's bit slow, but what the heck - I got mine free...:-) Hope this helps.
