Message-ID: <633@fred.UUCP> Date: 22 Dec 89 19:55:09 GMT Reply-To: bill@fred.UUCP (Bill Poitras) Organization: Polygen Corporation, Waltham, MA Lines: 17 I have a 3Com card w/o any documentation. I know its not a 3C501, because I have one of those with documentation to tell me that its a 3C501. The card in question is a full length 16-bit card with jumpers for Memory Address, I/O Address, DMA channel and interrupt channel. To the right of the right-most set of DMA pins (if you look at the board with the bracket on your left) is a jumper call "TEST". Is this a 3C503 or 3C505? What do the pins mean. If nobody can mail me installation intructions, could someone give me the number/address of 3Com. The 3C501 card is distributed through SUN, so there is no 3COM number in it. Thanks in advance. +-----------------+---------------------------+-----------------------------+ | Bill Poitras | Polygen Corporation | {princeton mit-eddie | | (bill) | Waltham, MA USA | bu sunne}!polygen!bill | | | | bill@polygen.com | +-----------------+---------------------------+-----------------------------+
