Is there any method to do >that on a EGA monitor? The best PC program to view it is called VPIC. Since you have a EGA, it'll work straight "out of the box" (no mods needed). It's a public domain viewer that also will save the GIF file into 4 other formats (I think: Dr. Halo, PCX, LBM (Deluxe Paint II), CUT, and mybe something else???). It's also got support for about 5 VGA/Super VGA chipsets (making up about 80% of the VGA boards out there) just in case you go VGA one of these days. See if somebody has it somewhere. If not, I'll upload it into my FTP directory or uuencode it for you (and anybody else who wants it). Do you use your workstation to view them now??? I always have an anime character on the background of my Sun 3/80 color system. >Thanks, No problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Robert Gutierrez -- NSI Network Ops Center | |--------------------------------------------------------------------------| | (is something supposed to go here ???..............) | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
