I have a 9600 U.S. Robotics modem which I would like to connect to my University's computers at 9600 speed. The only problem is that their modems are Multitech MicroModemV32's, with CCITT V.32 protocall, which my modem cannot recognize. My modem is at least two years old (I bought it used) and I am wondering if there is some type of upgrade or add-on I could get for my modem to be able to understand the V.32 protocall. Is there? Or do I have to resign myself to not being able to connect to the university (at 9600 speed)? - Scott
