Hi all, I have a program running that opens a window onto a custom screen . 

Everything is running FINE, the window opens, I have handled ALL my other
event routines (I have my gadgets running, my menus and all) .. I have set
the flag for VANILLAKEY in the IDCMP flags section of the NEwWindow
structure, and I DO get the messages.

But I cant find the documentation for HOW to extract the keystroke
information from it. , So , can someone tell me where to find the key that
was pressed if I have just received a VANILLAKEY message?
