I need to read a tape written with wbak on a non-Apollo machine. I don't want to "dearchive" the tape file, I just need to use a tape drive to read it that happens to be connected to another machine. Once read, I had planned to ftp it to an Apollo, and use the -stdin option on rbak to recover the data. I hear these tapes are ANSI labelled. Could someone send me enough information that I can get the file off the tape? 2. Is SR10.2.p presently shipping? If not, is there an expected release date? 3. Do the scsi_$ routines shipped with GPIO at SR10.2 also work with the scsi port on the WD disk controller? 4. Is there a public domain device driver available for a AT bus parallel port add on (like the Apollo SPE board)? The quality of the driver Thanks for answers in advance.
