I responded to Mark through email, but I wanted to use this opportunity to mention a bug I discovered in the interaction between two such ][+ enhancements: The SMT 1 Meg Expansion card ($99 unpopulated, through Computer Direct) is fully compatible with the Apple 1 Meg card, and allows a speedy RAM disk for the Plus. Unfortunately, when combined with the original TransWarp (which also significantly speeds up the Plus), neither the Apple or SMT brand of RAMdisk is functional. I tracked down the problem and developed a fix involving burning a new EPROM. Without getting into details, the "fault" really isn't AE's or Apple's (or SMT's). I made changes to the core routines of the RAMdisk transfer routines which allow both cards to function together on a ][ Plus. I'm just wondering what the legalities are concerning allowing others to benefit from my modifications of this ROM. How many folks out there have a ][ Plus with both the 1 Meg card AND the TransWarp, anyway?
