Message-ID: <2799@isis.UUCP> Date: 1 Jan 90 01:04:35 GMT Organization: CARL -- Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries Lines: 26 Need you advice and suggestions on IBM-PC type of software that will allow me to organize, maintain, and retrieve citations from magazines and other periodical literature. I realize that this exists on bigger machines (Unix of course, as well as on IBM big machines, Tandems, etc.) - specifically I am looking for PC types of software. Public domain would be fine, shareware OK, but commercial stuff would be fine as well. In particular, looking for the ability to: enter journal name, volume, issue ONCE .. then enter specific title, page no., index terms, abstract of variable length for each specific article ability to procduce hard-copy index by any combination of index entries except(perhaps) the abstract Please send me any and all pointers.....
