I have seen a demo of Omnipage running on this reader and was very 
impressed. It is also available for Mac and PC but PC version
requires a special card containing a 68000.
It is the only OCR software I have seen that rivals the Kurweil software
in ability to read a multitude of fonts to a high degree of accuracy.
