Texas CS Dept., Austin, Texas I am considering a cache card for my Mac II. There seem to be two options: - Marathon Racer by Dove, $149.- (MacConnection). - MacSprint II by Orchid, $219.- (MacLand). Both are supposed to increase performance by at least 20%. The Orchid product explicitly claims compatibility with System 7.0. My questions are: - Do you have experience (good or bad) with any of these? - Are the above quotes the best prices available? - Is getting a cache card a good idea in the first place? Thanks for your help. Edgar (knapp@cs.utexas.edu) --- * Via MaSNet/HST96/HST144/V32 - UN Mac * Via Usenet Newsgroup comp.sys.mac
