Keywords: controller, joystick Message-ID: <10765@attctc.Dallas.TX.US> Date: 29 Dec 89 03:38:00 GMT Organization: The Unix(R) Connection, Dallas, Texas Lines: 23 I recently read an interesting article in the 12-4-89 issue of Design News about the Mattel (TM) Power Glove, which was designed to work with Nintendo video games. They got the idea from the VPL Data Glove (about a $4,000 peripheral) which is a glove covered with sensors to detect hand and finger motion. The Power Glove (TM) is programmable as to which hand or finger motions produce the desired effect. I can post more info if requested. This Power Glove only costs about $75, and I thought it would make an incredibly interesting alternative controller for the Mac. After reading about the Sega glasses, this one seemed like a natural. Does anyone out there have some ideas on how to interface this gadget?
