How does one do this in Ultrix? We want to be able to print (text) files the normal way most of the time, so we don't want to set the tty port to "LITOUT" all the time (using the flags in /etc/printcap). The manuals didn't help us any longer than that. Could it be done with two queues to the same printer? In that case, how? How do the lpr lock files work? The printer sits on a DECserver 100 and is shared with a VMS machine, if that matters. We are using Ultrix 3.1 on a MicroVAX II. Please answer to me via e-mail. I will summarize to the net, if there's interest. Bengt Larsson -- Bengt Larsson - Dep. of Math. Statistics, Lund University, Sweden Internet: bengtl@maths.lth.se SUNET: TYCHE::BENGT_L
