1. I am running 11.3 under BSD4.3 on a VaxStation II.  Everything works fine
   except when I try to display a menu.  It takes over a minute for the
   menu to appear.  This is not a function of the window manager, it happens
   under both twm and uwm.  It may be a function of the color server.  There
   is no problem when running on a VaxStation II with a B&W monitor.  We
   have built the server with gcc, both with and without optimizations, with
   no difference in menu speed.  We have applied all patches available from
   expo.  Does anyone have any suggestion as to what might be the problem?

2. I am running under xdm.  I would like to use the .Xresources file to
   control the appearance, etc. of the various applications that I am
   running.  But this requires that I know the resource names to modify.
   By looking at existing resource files I have noticed the use of some
   resources named "wm_option".  Are these described anywhere?  In general,
   can someone point me at a document that describes the various resources
   and how to specify them?
