Today's Business Section of the New York Times (page D1) had its
lead article on X Terminals and the rosy business prospects for the
same.  Given the forum, the article was quite good.  They did not
recommend any particular small companies which would be pure X Terminal
plays, suggesting that the traditional mainframe/mini-computer vendors
would come to dominate the market.  They did seem to have a good
vision of what the future of computing would be in terms of a
heterogenous, distributed environment dominated by high network bandwidth
and bitmapped graphics.
