Hello XPeople,

Forgive  me if this  has  been  asked  receintly,  but I am not on  this
distribution list.  I am looking for two items:

    1 - It would be real handy to have some sort of X11  wrapper  around
	the "write (1)"  communication  program.  Something that opens a
	window on another users X display for interactive communication.
	A few buttons for sending  and/or  receiving  messages,  or some
	such  thing.  If I had the time, I would  attempt it myself, but
	I'm sure someone else could do it better than me anyway.

    2 - I need  something to convert tiff (Tag Image File Format) to pbm
	(Portable  Bit Map) or xbm (X Bit Map) or  something  compatable
	with X11 stuff.

If anyone  knows  where I can find such  things via  anonymous  ftp that
would be great.  Since I am not on this distribution list, please e-mail
responses directly to me.
