This isn't bad (still too fat, but not bad). The R4 server is significantly smaller in data size than the R3 server, at least in my experience. It's a little larger in text size (about 20%); I haven't analyzed what percentage of that is from increased functionality. I expect the X servers from MIT to be a bit big, because they are demonstrations of new ideas, with size a low concern, On the contrary, data size was a major concern for the R4 server.
