In case the nonliteral is a comma, I see that there is a problem caused by @node ,,,,Top . However, it seems to me that I ought to be able to have #@ as the name of a node. In order to have such a node, however, I can't type the name in as #@ because @ does not represent itself as an ascii character. Instead, I have to type #@@ . However, the following code shows that this doesn't work. There is no problem creating the info file, but when I use the menu to select the node @#, I am told there is no such node (nor is there a node named #@@). When I had this item as part of a larger menu, I had no difficulty accessing the other items on the menu, but I could not access this one even when it was first on the list. I assume I will have to live with this, but can someone explain what is wrong here ? Please reply to me directly. I am not yet on this mailing list.
