I don't think it is a good idea to use this list to discuss possible
projects involving a large amount of work.  Very few of the people on
the list can contribute usefully, and none of them can make any use of
the suggestions.

So please move the discussion to bug-gnu-emacs.  Most of the people
interested in long-term ideas are on that list.
