There has been a forged posting about a pet snake eating puppies.
This posting is in rec.pets although I have never seen the original.
I have seen followups and several people have sent be email about this
posting.

The first I've seen about this forged posting is on January 3, one day
after I started back at work. I have not posted anything since the last
day at work last year DEC 22. I do not post from home. Any posting
made between DEC 22 and Jan 2 are forgeries.

Can anyone on the net suggest ways of handling this?
