I mean this group (s.c.celtic)is lucky to have a dozen articles a week, and it already (at least in theory) deals with the Scottish and Welsh. Never in the past has the fact that it is designed for Celtic subjects prevented various folks from posting topics that were clearly English and I doubt that these topics would suddenly become off limits. I guess before I would vote yes I would like to see some sort of justification for the group. Where is the demand? What about cross-posting problems (My guess is that a posting that deals with say Scottish meat pies would belong in both groups - why have two groups covering the same material??? why not have a soc.culture.english instead?? Now that I would love to vote for...... gln
