They are published every week, 2 weeks or month or something (12.5 days?) in the newsgroup nixpub.list (I think I have the name right.) There are about 80 some listed, and they come in most NPAs (area codes) but not all. There is also some sort of cross-over between FidoNet (IBM Opus BBSs) and the USENET, but I'm not in that scene so I couldn't tell you about it, and it's only on some Fido BBSs.
