Some people like to stay unsubscribed from groups but look in on them when they have some extra time. Additionally, there are those times when I see mention of an article in a group to which I am unsubscribed but it nevertheless interests me. Both of these scenarios are affected by the proposed expiry method. Dave -- (setq mail '("tale@cs.rpi.edu" "tale@ai.mit.edu" "tale@rpitsmts.bitnet"))
