They are meddling with the forces of nature used by God to weave the tapestry of life. I hope this doesn't add to the feeling of negativness some feel to be permiating this list, but I have a nasty streak in me that enjoys pestering witches. Around where I live there are a lot of witches (they call themselves wickens), especially on the islands. Being a sociable creature I've managed to make contacts with various groups (covens), and I always try to get invited to one of their meetings. I sit back with a non-judmental, pleasant look on my face, open a channel to God, start a conversational prayer happening in my head (usually something like, 'hey Jesus, check out these weirdo's. What'ya want me to do? Play along? Mess up their chanting with augmented sevenths? Whow, look at that one over there! She looks like she's really getting into this...' and so on) and watch how messed up and flustered they get as they try to call down (up?) their power source. Sometimes they've figured out I have something to do with things not working (which is what I want, 'cause I'm baiting them), and if they ask me what the heck I think I'm doing, I just smile, and say, 'Just wanted to watch you squirm. My God's bigger than yours. (Nya nya na naa naa)' The smart ones usually realize I'm not kidding, and being as their trip is spiritual power, they start asking questions. By not sounding preachy I've managed to get some of them out of the business (who wants to be on a loosing side?), and in one case a girl started going back to a church of the denomination she'd been raised in. Okay, so I'm a pest. (Is that negative?) Peace David
