Demons CAN AND DO lie. I've experienced this. However, for the final proof, we MUST return to God's Word. 1 John (not sure of exact refer- ence) says to test the spirits and then gives a test. Ask it if Jesus is Lord and has come in the flesh. If it were to answer yes to this and be a demon, Satan would tear it apart. Besides, demons hate Jesus, so it wouldn't and couldn't answer in this way. That passage says that any spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ (which carries the meaning that Jesus is Lord) is come in the flesh is from God. Period. Get back to the Word, people, not opinions.
