American mainstream sociological studies - I'll look it up for you next time I'm at the library. And I mean that most prostitutes (80%) (although I'm sure there are effects on males, not this study) were sexually abused as children by members of their families, usually. In fact, some more stats ( which I will also document, all US): 1 in 4 female children and 1 in 7 male children are sexually abused; 1 in 8 wives are beaten. This is all under a smooth surface of denial. Think about it, you look out on a classroom full of people. 100 people half male, half female, and about 20 have been through this. Hmmmm. May God Bless them all, Anne
