You can rename it by using the disked.exe program but USE CARE WITH THIS. First make sure you have a full backup of the sys: volume! Just run the disked program and read the first 10 or so sectors. The server name is at the beginning of one of them. You can use ascii values and change the name to a new name. (Not sure if 10 is enough, if not try a few more sectors). -Al Marshall
