I talked extensively with Lotus personnel, both technical and sales types, and was told that 2.2 is written specifically to prevent multiple usage, although there is "a way" known to some of the insiders to get around the protection. I was unsuccessful in my efforts to get them to share with me the necessary technique, and I was unwilling to spend a lot of time hacking around with the program. Your best bet is probably to get them to upgrade the license to the network version, which I understand is now shipping. When last I spoke with them, there was no defined upgrade policy, but that may have changed. Coincidentally, I'm lunching with a Lotus rep this afternoon; I suspect they've seen this problem before, and there may be a procedure for dealing with it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Michael O.
