VT-100 seems to be the most bullet proof. However, there are two problems: 1. Speed. Things are a bit slower on the remote using ATERM, but certainly acceptable at 2400 baud. When using VT-100 things slow to a crawl. If there is anything fancy going on like windows or IBM graphics you might as well go pour yourself a cup of coffee. I've tried a terminal hooked to a PC via null modem cable at 9600 baud and things work great, but anything less seems unacceptable. 2. Keyboard, screen, etc. PC-Anywhere has a pretty nifty scheme for handling , , etc. key sequences, but it still takes time to learn and is a bit awkward. There's also the problem of being short one line of display, especially when the top or bottom lines are menus.
