There is an anually published databook on Japanese transistors which is easy to be found in Taiwan. Manufacturer, electrical properties and outline drawings are included. But sorry I don't know where to get it in the U.S. Commonly found manufacturers are Sony, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, etc. It doesn't sound reasonable to me to use GaAs FET for HF front-ends because it is much noisier for frequencies under UHF.
