I certainly do get exactly the same behavior on my PRO-80 on exactly the same frequencies, i.e. I can't go to ORD and listen to all the tower frequencies without problems on some of them. I'll bet it's difficult or impossible to fix. BTW, are there any converters that will shift the PRO-80 into the 400Mhz and 800-900Mhz bands? I'd hate to have to buy another radio.
