These timings provide a rough index of scalar double-precision floating point uniprocessor speed. The timings have been reported by over 50 contributors in 8 countries on dozens of systems (most of them X clients) spanning three orders of magnitude in processor speed. New or revised in this update: Cray Y-MP; Convex C2 ESP; DEC 5810; Solbourne Cypress; MIPS RC2030; Alliant FX/80; NeXT; Pyramid 98x, 90x. The timings are available: 1.
