Our INGRES salesman tried to persuade us to buy INGRES instead of SYBASE
referring to the object oriented capabilities with possibilities to define
new classes and to do operator overloading. He also talked about some sort
of knowledge shell.

I now wonder if the same capabilities will come in the near future in Sybase.

Can anyone comment on differences between Sybase and Ingres concerning
multi-server databases.
