For Christmas I received a Magnavox 9CM082 VGA Monitor, to which I need to
find a VGA card for.  I am unsure about whether or not this monitor will
support a 800x600 resolution with (256?) 16 colors.  How would I know if
it were...what spec tells me the modes selected...for example the monitor
has a 60-70hz variable vertical scanning and it states that the beast
specifically supports 640x350,640x400,720x400 modes..yet it also claims to
have a max.display resolution of 800x600.  Any Help would be WONDERFUL !

I also would then need a suggestion as to the proper VGA card to get for
the beast...any suggestions ?
