I am currently writing a small graphing program to which I want
to add automatic scaling of axes. I have problems finding appropriate
lower and upper boundaries and tic intervals for widely diverging
graph data. Does anyone know a source (book/article or computer code) for
an appropriate algorithm? If so, please mail it. Many thanks.
