I'm trying to read a HALO-created .PIC file and having limited success.
I'm using .PIC files created using version 2.26 of HALO and following
the _limited_ documentation given in the manual.

Some of the .PIC files are read in correctly.  Others seem to be skewed
in some strange places. 

If anyone who's done this before could offer suggestions/tips/pointers,
I'd be grateful.
