Unfortunately, the automated posting contains nothing specific WRT the topic of this thread (I know, I checked it before posting). If my question was so common and so basic as to cause people to complain, perhaps it's time to add some new references? If we all agree, I'd like to recommend "Microcomputer Displays, Graphics, and Animation" by Bruce Artwick. This book was recommended to me by one of the people who responded via email to my posting, and I found it extremely interesting, informative and helpful.
