Hello,

I don't use rexx code for day of week calculation because I have a rexx
callable 'DAY MODULE' which has fully 'invalid dates' controlled.
It runs between year 0001 to 9999.

Some examples;

days = Day('01/10/1200','B'))   /* 438199 */

user_day='29/02/1884'

If Day(user_day,'C') Then Say Day(user_day)
     /* 1 (true) */           /* Friday */

B (basedate) returns number of days since the 01/01/0001 till given date
C (control) returns 0 or 1. False when the date format is wrong or
  date is not exists
W (weekday) returns day of week. example; Monday

If you want DAY MODULE please drop a note 'PROHVK32@TREARN Cem Turgay'
or 'PROHVK33@TREARN Engin Tavsanli' and add 2 for writters due B-)))
