It seems to me that you are basing much of your opinion on a very small sample of Forth implementations, and almost zero exposure to the Forth literature. I think it would be a good idea to read some back issues of JFAR, Forth Dimensions, FORML conference proceedings, and Rochester Conference Proceedings. No sense in reinventing the wheel. Mitch
