I'm working with a Physics research group that has a PDP-11 based CAMAC (IEEE-583) system they want to migrate to a more current computing system. We are talking to KineticsSystems Corp, who supply CAMAC stuff, are there other companies we should be talking to? If someone out there could point me to a mailing list/newsgroup, or has some experience with this stuff and would like to discuss options, please drop me a line.
