Wiltzius) Distribution: usa Organization: CRG, Lawrence Livermore Labs Lines: 17 As I understand there are at least 2 versions of Mach. The one that is available commercially uses the BSD UNIX kernel. The other, under development, implements BSD UNIX as a process in Mach. I am interested in the latter. In particular, I am interested in the throughput of the TCP/IP socket calls and how it compares to the native 4.3BSD UNIX. I also have other questions if someone can volunteer as a contact. Thanks very much. Dave (wiltzius@lll-lcc.llnl.gov) Lawrence Livermore Nat'l Lab Livermore, CA (415) 422-1551
