Apple wrote a TCP/IP (actually Telnet) protocol module for
MacWorkstation which worked with early alpha versions of MacTCP. I
obtained the source of this from Apple in January of 1989 and fixed
it up to work with the release version of MacTCP. Since that time we
have fixed a couple of bugs and been using it regularly.
 
There is also a version that runs over TCPort, that was also written
here, but not by me.
 
Apple wants nothing to do with this any more and so I'll try and
find a low-pain way to release this to those who need it. As is the
case for many of us, our employers own our intellectual products if
developed on their equipment or time.
