This is a Nit, but an annoying one.  MIPS in an acronym.  It stands
for _M_illion _I_nstructions _P_er _S_econd.  Thus, the proper plural
for MIPS is MIPS.  The Proper Singular for MIPS is MIPS.  1 MIPS, 100
MIPS.  It is still MIPS.
