Please don't misunderstand, I'm NOT asking for information wrt networks such as a packet radio network where the radios have broadcast antennas and the packets are sent to a single destination. Rather, my particular application is a proposed new network in which the nodes are interconnected via landlines but most of the messages are destined for all nodes in the network.
