I am not aware of an RFC being developed on SNMP products 
suppliers.  However, DATAPRO Research has completed an extensive 
market survey on SNMP (manager and agent) suppliers.  This 
information along with another article on SNMP internals, is 
apparently scheduled to be published in their Volume on Network 
Management in a couple of weeks.  Most University libraries carry
